My Mother

Monday 30th Jun
Hey, I’ve been helping look after my mother for over 6 years now as dementia has slowly wheeled back her mental age and ability to hold and understand conversations. It’s been a struggling process to witness and I can’t imagine what it’s like in her head as I watch her sometimes.
I’m partaking in this crunches challenge to help spread awareness and raise important funds to help people and families like my mine with the help of Dementia Australia and NDIS that help families with carers for everyday tasks to make life easier around homes or even to take them out for the day to add abit of relief of the families of those that looking after there loved ones
