We're taking on the Crunches Challenge this July for Dementia Australia

We’re taking part in Crunches for Dementia in honour of our beautiful mum, grandma, and great grandma, Barbara, who is courageously battling this heartbreaking disease.

Dementia has slowly taken away the vibrant woman we know and love, turning cherished memories into confusion and everyday moments into challenges. Watching someone you love become a stranger in their own body is something no family should ever have to face.

Currently, more than 433,300 Australians are living with dementia. Without a medical breakthrough, that number is expected to rise to over 812,500 by 2058. This isn’t just a statistic—it’s a reality that touches so many families, just like ours.

Every crunch we do is for Barb, and for the hope of a future free from this devastating disease.
