Currently, it is estimated that more than 433,300 Australians are living with dementia. Without a medical breakthrough, the number of people with dementia is expected to increase to more than 812,500 by 2058.

Why am I doing this you ask?
Tuesday 24th Jun In Australia, dementia is a significant health issue, affecting a large portion of the population, especially those aged 65 and over. In 2025, it is estimated that 433,000 Australians are living with dementia. This number is projected to almost double by 2058. Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia and the leading cause of death for Australian women, my mother had in New Zealand had dementia as part of her MITO condition, a solid brother has it with his family now.Share
