Crunches Challenge 2026

I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia

I’m taking part in the Crunch for Dementia Challenge in honour of my mum, who lives with vascular dementia. This challenge is deeply personal to me, as I have seen firsthand the impact this disease has not only on the person diagnosed, but on the families who walk beside them every day.

Dementia slowly changes the people we love, taking away memories, independence and parts of who they once were. It is heartbreaking to watch, but through this challenge I hope to raise awareness, support research, and stand alongside the many families facing this journey.

I’m doing this for my mum, for others living with dementia, and for every family who continues to show strength, love and resilience through the daily struggles this disease brings.

Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.

Your contribution will make a world of difference for people impacted by dementia, every donation big or small counts!

Thank you so much for your support.
