Crunches Challenge 2026

I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia in Memory of William Kenneth Gagan or as most of you knew him, Billy Boy.

My dad was someone I admired my entire life. He was strong, kind, and the person who shaped so much of who I am. Losing him to dementia was heartbreaking, and I miss him every single day. I’m taking part in this challenge in his honour — to raise awareness, support others, and help make a difference for families facing this cruel disease.

Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.

Your contribution will make a world of difference for people impacted by dementia, every donation big or small counts!

Thank you so much for your support.
