I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia
Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.
Your contribution will make a world of difference for people impacted by dementia, every donation big or small counts!
Thank you so much for your support.

Crunching for Cause
Tuesday 5th MayThis June we’re taking on a challenge together - 2,500 crunches to support dementia awareness and research.
For me, this cause is deeply personal. Working in aged care, I see every day the impact dementia has on people’s lives: the moments of confusion, the loss of independence, but also the incredible resilience, connection and care that surrounds it.
For Matty, this challenge looks a little different and that’s okay. He’s not in the industry, but he’s showing up anyway. Supporting me, backing the cause and committing to something that matters to our family because it matters to me.
And maybe that’s what makes this challenge even more special. It’s not just about shared passion, it’s about shared support.
So whether we’re counting reps, encouraging each other, or laughing through the soreness, every crunch is a small step toward raising awareness for something that truly matters.
If you’d like to follow along or support the cause, we’d love to have you with us.
Jackie & Matty x
