I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia
Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without significant intervention, that number is expected to rise to more than 1 million by 2065.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart as I’m completing this challenge in honour of my Pappou Peter and Pappou Yianni. Seeing the impact dementia can have on individuals and families has made me even more passionate about supporting the work being done to improve the lives of those affected.
As someone who deeply values family, this challenge is my way of giving back, raising awareness, and helping create a future where fewer families have to experience the challenges that come with dementia.
