I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia

Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.

Challenge for my Grandmother

Saturday 9th May
My Yiayia (grandmother) was diagnosed with Dementia in the final years of her life. Being a diabetic, this made her forget to eat and as a result caused issues with her blood sugar. Eventually her body couldn’t handle the stress on her body and she passed peacefully in her home. I hope by completing this challenge, there can be more support and research to help those diagnosed with Dementia.
