Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.

My Grandpa

Monday 25th May
I am taking part in this challenge to raise awareness after losing my grandpa who had Dementia in May 2023. It’s a horrible disease which slowly takes away the person who they used to be even though deep down they’re still the same person they just can’t express this in the way they used to do. I love you and miss you always grandpa💙
