I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this July for Dementia Australia

Currently, it is estimated that more than 433,300 Australians are living with dementia. Without a medical breakthrough, the number of people with dementia is expected to increase to more than 812,500 by 2058.

Like many I have watched a woman so dear become someone who no longer recognises herself. Whilst there is sparks of recognition, or the enjoyment she has with others at times, it is a cruel disease. Watching the toll it has taken on her, my extended family we need to do more to help with this disease that strikes ever so quietly and rapidly.  If you are in a position to donate or even educate yourself further this would be truly appreciated
