I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia
Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.
Your contribution will make a world of difference for people impacted by dementia, every donation big or small counts!
Thank you so much for your support.

Raising Dementia Awareness
Sunday 31st MayDementia is more than memory loss—it affects identity, independence, and the way a person connects with the world. As our communities age, creating dementia awareness is not just important, it’s essential.
Living with dementia can be confusing and overwhelming, but small acts of understanding make a big difference. Taking the time to listen patiently, maintaining familiar routines, and communicating with kindness can help individuals feel safe and respected. Awareness reduces stigma and replaces fear with compassion.
Supporting the cause doesn’t always require big actions. It can be as simple as learning about dementia, engaging loved ones in meaningful activities, or creating environments that are calm and inclusive. In aged care settings and communities alike, these efforts promote dignity and improve quality of life.
Together, we can build a society that sees the person beyond the condition—one that values empathy, connection, and respect at every stage of life.
