I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia
For me, this is personal. I lost my beautiful mum to the cruel disease that is dementia, and I know the heartache it causes and leaves behind.
Currently, more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia, with a further 1.7 million people involved in their care. It is Australia’s leading cause of death. Without significant intervention, the number of people living with dementia is expected to exceed 1 million by 2065.
Awareness raised and dollars contributed go toward vital research and better support along the way.

I am holding such a deep gratitude and appreciation for your thoughts and wonderful donations. Thank you all for your generosity and kindness. While fundraising is not generally my thing, knowing people have got behind this means more than I can adequately express. Every dollar here goes toward vital research and support for the hundreds of thousands of Australians living with dementia and the families beside them. Thank you! Crunches going well so far - and pushed out a nice 70 honouring what would have been Mum’s 70th birthday today.
Gosh, she would have been so proud! (Perhaps of the 70 crunches today, but largely so of the cause and care and generosity you all have extended) X
