I am raising funds for Dementia Australia in memory of Dominic Barbaro

Thank you for donating to Dementia Australia in memory of The Barb.

Dom was medically identified as suffering Dementia with indications of Alzheimer’s in 2019. The gaps between research and meaningful intervention are significant.  There remains no cure for Dementia.

Dementia Australia is undertaking a range of research and a number of these directly related to Dom's situation, specifically:

- The relationship between Alzheimer's and stress

- Development of innovative nanotechnology to halt Alzheimer’s progress

- Exercise and its relationship to prevention of dementia and Alzheimer’s

- Personalising dosage regimens of medicines in Alzheimer’s disease

And many more.  All donations received will make a significant difference for people living with dementia, their families and carers through vital support, services, education, training and research. Thank you for your generosity in supporting Dementia Australia to enable this fine work.
