I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia -

Dementia is a disease that has affected my family with an aunty diagnosed in her early 60s & my nan in her early 70s. Dementia is a something I’ll hold close to me - having team lead a dementia ward in an aged care facility and now supporting patients and their loved ones through my line of employment now in general practice. 

Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.
