Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.

My dad

Friday 29th May
Over 2.5 years ago we received the diagnosis that my dad has early onset dementia. Fast forward, and the dementia has rapidly progressed. Sundowning is a daily challenge. The only word I can use to describe this disease is that it’s cruel. And I’m dreading the day that my dad forgets who I am 😢
