Honouring the memory of Joan Monk

This November I’m joining Team Joan Monk to help raise funds to support people with dementia, and honour the memory of Joan Monk.

My contribution will help complete the Pedal the Map challenge of riding the distance around Australia, and create a positive change for people living with this condition.

Please help me reach my goal by making a donation. It only takes a minute and any amount you can give will go a long way to fund medical and social research and support the vital services, support groups and education programs that Dementia Australia provides to people living with dementia, their families and carers.

My first ride of November, 108 km heading out to Shorncliffe and return then a loop of Mt Coot-tha and home via the river loop

Thinking of all the wonderful times Sue and I had with her mum. I’d often call in after a ride and we’d have afternoon tea together. Missing those days now, but the memories are there!!
