Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.

Okay so I’ve just signed up to this challenge very impulsively as per usual, but as Mum has taken a huge decline in the last 4 weeks and is looking at palliative care rather than remedial care for her struggles, I’m more than up for the challenge. Please help me raise funds for the thousands of Australians like my Mum who are going through an unspeakably unfair end to their life battling the slow and silent battle of Dementia. Seeing my Mum decline to this disease is by far my biggest challenge in my life so far, so although I’m terribly unfit, I’m up for this physical challenge in the name of my Mum. Please support me by donating and helping me achieve my goal in the hopes of raising funds to help better support and better understand this horrendous disease. Much love xx
