Crunches Challenge 2025

I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this July for Dementia Australia

Currently, it is estimated that more than 433,300 Australians are living with dementia. Without a medical breakthrough, the number of people with dementia is expected to increase to more than 812,500 by 2058.

Your contribution will make a world of difference for people impacted by dementia, every donation big or small counts!

Thank you so much for your support.

My Updates

Days 8, 9 & 10 - Done!

Thursday 10th Jul
It has been quite a busy week but crunches for the last three days are done. 70 crunches for day 8, 60 crunches for day 9 and 90 crunches this morning! :D

Day 7 - Done!

Monday 7th Jul
Nothing like dragging yourself out of bed in a cold Monday morning to do 100 push-ups! Not gonna lie…it took a while to get them all done :D

Day 5 & 6 - Done!

Sunday 6th Jul
Weekend crunches done - a total of 140 crunches! 330 crunches done for the first week. The good news is my core is not as sore anymore :D

Day 4 - Done!

Friday 4th Jul
45 crunches done and dusted, with special thanks to my very supportive 6yo personal trainer :D

Day 3 - Done

Thursday 3rd Jul
55 crunches done and dusted! With added stretches I've discovered long dormant muscles that are not happy to be reawakened :D

Day 1 & 2 - Done

Wednesday 2nd Jul
40 crunches after work yesterday and 50 crunches early this morning done and dusted! My core has no idea what's hit it - it has been a long time since it had to endure that kind of exercise :D
