Crunches Challenge 2025

I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this July for Dementia Australia

In April of this year I lost my dad to dementia. He was only 68 years old. Everyone thinks dementia only impacts elderly people, but dad was only 63 when he was diagnosed. It changed our lives completely. We slowly watched dad deteriorate and disappear in a body that was still healthy. 

Currently, it is estimated that more than 433,300 Australians are living with dementia. Without a medical breakthrough, the number of people with dementia is expected to increase to more than 812,500 by 2058.
