Crunches Challenge 2026

I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia

Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.

Your contribution will make a world of difference for people impacted by dementia, every donation big or small counts!

Thank you so much for your support.

Day 1 Complete: Crunching for a Cause

Monday 1st Jun

Today marked the first day of my challenge, and I couldn't be happier to get started.

I completed my first day of crunches and, while it may seem like a small step, it feels like a significant achievement. There's something powerful about committing to a goal and taking that first action toward it. The sense of accomplishment afterwards was incredible.

What makes this challenge even more meaningful is knowing that every crunch supports Dementia Australia. It's inspiring to think that my efforts can help raise awareness and contribute to the important work being done to support people living with dementia, their families, and carers.

The first day is always about building momentum. There will no doubt be days ahead that test my determination, but today reminded me why I signed up in the first place. It's about improving my own health and fitness while supporting a cause that touches the lives of so many Australians.

One day down, many more to go. I'm excited to continue the journey, challenge myself, and make every crunch count.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me so far. Your encouragement means a lot, and I'm looking forward to sharing my progress along the way.
