Crunches Challenge 2026

I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for my Yiayia and Dementia Australia

Last year, my beautiful Yiayia was diagnosed with dementia. Throughout this significant change in her life though, I've been impressed by her strong-will and her ability to always find humour in a situation. I find her attitude remarkable, especially because of the uncertainty that comes with the disease.
More research is required to find a cure for this disease, which is estimated to affect more than 445,000 Australians. Without a significant intervention, this number is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.
I'm taking Dementia Australia's Crunches Challenge to raise vital funds towards dementia research to support people like my Yiayia living with this disease. Any contribution to this fundraiser will make a world of difference for people impacted by dementia.
