Currently, it is estimated that 421,000 Australians are living with dementia. Without a medical breakthrough, the number of people with dementia is expected to increase by more than 812,500 by 2058.

I am participating in the 5km a Day in November challenge for Dementia Australia for my grandfather, who was diagnosed with dementia in 2018. Witnessing the impact of this disease on him and our family drives my commitment to support research and initiatives that will help others.
