I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia

Recently, my Grandmother lost one of her closest friends who was affected by dementia. She didn’t have many friends left other than my Grandma because they couldn’t understand/respond to her dementia or listen to the same stories over and over again. My Grandma stayed her friend until the end and was devastated when she passed.

Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.
