I'm taking on the Crunches Challenge this June for Dementia Australia

Currently, it is estimated that more than 446,500 Australians are living with dementia. Without a significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than 1 million by 2065.

In honour of my nanna 💜

This June, I’m taking on the Crunches Challenge and aiming to complete 2,500 crunches to raise funds for Dementia Australia.

My nanna lived with Alzheimer’s disease, and a number of her siblings have been affected by dementia. I’ve also had good friends lose their fathers to this devastating disease.

Dementia affects not only those living with it, but also the families, friends, and carers who support them every day. It touches so many lives, and chances are most of us know someone who has been affected.

I’m doing this challenge in memory of my nanna, for loved ones we’ve lost, for those currently living with dementia, and for everyone who walks this journey alongside them.
