I'm raising funds for people with dementia! 

As many of you know my mum has dementia and it’s heartbreaking to watch. To see the one and only person who has loved you since before you were born disappear day by day. 

But I need your help! Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me reach my goal to beat dementia.

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

So I did something…

Tuesday 8th Mar
My family like most families are touched by something that sticks with us, cancer, heart attacks, strokes and unfortunately more than one. Well Over the last couple of years our family has added another heart breaker by the name of Dementia. 
It’s taken it’s strong hold and wrapped its self around my mother. 
While the last couple of years have been time for my family to adjust and learn our new normal with mum, to now having her living in a safe environment I have a need to do something, to have my children be part of something that we can feel like we are making a difference. In years to come to say “let’s do this for nana Pom”.
So on her birthday 11/11/2022 I’d like to have 11 laps of the blue lake completed by what I’m calling the 11/11 team. My aim is to raise $1,100. Any donation or support you can offer will be very much appreciated.
I guess I better start to get my legs moving again…
