I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

I am fundraising for dementia! 
 
To help in the fight against this horrible disease, we cordially invite you to participate in a ‘Ride to Remember Dementia’. This initiative has been brought about by the passing of a dear family member. Paul and Derek Taylor’s father.

We humbly ask for a donation of $10 per rider, which will be forwarded to The Dementia Australia Research Foundation.

This initiative is also for all family’s dealing with this difficult disease. Let’s support each other as best we can. 
 
Following is a schedule for the day, ending at Arundel Tavern where we will have live entertainment. The bar and kitchen will be open for refreshments.
 
Saturday 21st November 2020:
Riders to meet at BP Coomera (M1 Exit ) at 8.30am.
 
9am: Departure to Mt Tamborine
30 minute stop at (venue TBC)
 
10am: Departure to Canungra
30 minute stop at (venue TBC)
 
11am: Departure to Arundel Tavern.
 
Families of riders and anyone who would like to show their support is welcome to join in at Arundel Tavern 💛

When dementia changed my life

Monday 2nd Nov
3rd January 2019. This was the day I touched down in Napier, New Zealand, to be with my family. My parents, sisters and brother. We arrived at the family home to be greeted by everyone. Dad didn’t barely recognised me.  ‘You’re the lift guy’ he said, referring to a few years back when we were in the same lift in a Wellington hotel. This is the day I feel I had lost my Dad.
