Hi All,

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my page. Did you know that 460,000 Australians are living with Dementia? This also means 1.6 million Australians are involved in their care.

On a personal note…

My Nonno was born in 1928 in Italy and migrated to Shepparton, VIC in 1952. He found a job farming tomatoes and saved enough money to be able to move his wife and young family to Melbourne. He continued to provide for his family up until his memory deteriorated in his late 60's. While it started off slowly, towards the end it was a challenge for him to remember his family. His vacant stare is something which is hard to forget.

I am fundraising not only in memory of my Nonno, but also for:

- His siblings, as 4 out of 7 of them also lost their memory within their elderly years.

- Those currently living with Dementia.

- Those caring for people with Dementia.

From my family to yours, have a safe and happy festive season.
