Iβm running a half marathon! 21kms in my 21st year!Β
Raising money for Dementia Australia! Please donate.Β
My Opa and Granddad where both diagnosed with dementia. Itβs a crippling disease that takes a large toll on them and the family around them. Itβs was very sad watching them fade away. They changed so much and as a young child I didnβt understand clearly what was happening, they werenβt the person I knew, trusted and remembered anymore, yet it was still them and I still loved them. Β
My Nan is currently battling with vascular dementia. I have a close connection with her and she has had a monumental impact on my life. Iβm dreading the day that I visit and she doesnβt remember me anymore.Β
So please donate, it would mean the world to me, my Nan, my family and everyone else who has been affected by dementia. It sucks!Β
