I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

Leylands Travel Australia are proud to present the Wheels Across a Wilderness 60^th anniversary expedition, recreating The Leyland Brothers 1966 expedition and taking Mal Leyland with us. Mal has Dementia and his memory is fading, so this “one last trip” is important to him and us so we can recreate some of those memories for him and document his reactions at experiencing revisiting the places he went to 60 years ago.

Living with someone that has Dementia has raised our awareness of this debilitating disease and we want to do everything we can to help raise awareness of it and help to assist in finding a cure.

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.
