Running For My Mum
Sunday 2nd AprOn 29th April I am ‘Running The Rock’ (13.5km) in honour of my lovely mum who passed away in 2021 during covid. She suffered from Alzheimer’s for over 16 years and in the end couldn’t walk or talk (in addition to not knowing who her family were). It is the cruelest disease both to suffer from and to watch.
As you can probably tell, I’m no runner so this is no mean feat for me as it is a 13.5km (very hilly) run around Hanging Rock.
I am running for Alzheimer’s and Dementia and would really appreciate it if my friends and family and anyone who has been affected by Alzheimers/ Dementia would please sponsor me.
