In memory of Llew Skelton

By Lauren KEMPSHALL

I am raising funds for Dementia Australia in memory of my loved one.

Thank you for donating to Dementia Australia in memory of our loved one.

My Dad Llew lived with a common but little known form of dementia called Lewy body dementia.

For over 10 years LBD affected every single aspect of his life. He experienced unpredictable fluctuations in mobility, muscle control, speech, memory, normal bodily functions, sleep and cognition. His condition could change by the minute, by the day or week. He could seem quite well one day, then unable to speak or respond the next.

He was brave through it all and supported by his wife Julie, whose unwavering presence, love and advocacy gave him peace and reassurance always.

All donations received will support the work of Dementia Australia to make a significant difference for people living with dementia, their families and carers through vital support, services, education, training and research.

Thank you for your generosity.
