I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

This year I am spreading my fundraising skills a bit further and raising awareness and much needed funds to support people living with or supporting people living with dementia and alzheimers.

They are cruel diseases. Not just for loved ones living with it, but for their loved ones navigating a new normal, as they watch their person being stripped of memories, independence, awareness, the list goes on.

My best friends Mum and her family are living this life now, having no choice but to move their Mum from the family home she loved in to full time care. I have two other Friends who’s Mums are going through the same thing. One still able to live in her home, one who some days doesn’t remember my friend is her Daughter. I can’t imagine!!!!

I have an old school friend and family friends who have lost their parents to either dementia or alzheimers.

WE NEED TO RAISE MONEY, so much more support is needed, so much more research is needed.
