5km a day

I’m raising funds for people with dementia. After working in aged care for the past 4 years and now having my mums husband Archie recently diagnosed with Vascular Dementia, this cause means a lot to me and our family.

This November I’m taking part in the 5km A Day Your Way challenge with Dementia Australia. However for me, 5km is easy as I currently walk 6km every single day anyway. So I’m going to challenge myself and walk 10km every day for the month of November. I’m doing this for Archie, everyone diagnosed with Dementia and their families.

Each day in November I’ll be completing 10km a day!

Every kilometre I complete, and dollar raised, helps support the 446,500 Australians living with dementia and the 1.7 million who care for them.
