I'm taking on a Marathon to Remember and making a difference for people living with dementia!
I’m challenging myself to complete a Marathon to raise funds to support people with dementia.

Thursday 29th SepHello Everyone!
As you may or may not be aware I am training at the moment for the Perth Marathon and coincidently it aligns with this fund-raiser for Dementia Australia. I am sharing this as for all of you who don’t know my Dad was diagnosed with Younger Onset Alzheimers in 2016 at 56.
Whilst this was devastating for our family, we adjusted to our new normal and I am so proud of our unity, strength and resilience throughout this journey.
Now, I recognise that we are not alone and many are touched by this condition therefore I hope with the sheer power of support from our community we can help translate hope where it is sometimes jaded.
Dementia awareness, education and dementia friendly communities is the way forward. So to help raise funds for Dementia Australia who are leaders in this field, I am taking this opportunity in the lead up to the Perth Marathon on October 9th to raise funds for this worthy cause.
So folks if you can and willing, your support would be greatly appreciated with as little or as much as you can.
All in all thank you to everyone who has supported our family through this time. We are so enormously grateful.
