I'm raising funds for people with dementia!
I am organising this event to give people in the Southern Highlands an opportunity to once again raise funds to assist Dementia Australia with their important work including research and support. My wife, Nancy Wood OAM, died from Dementia in Dec 2025 and to honour her life of volunteering and fundraising, will be holding this event on her birthday. Her OAM was for service to the community which including her work for the Port Pirie Branch of the National Trust and Port Pirie Music Club. In fact she was the first female Chairman of any National Trust Branch in South Australia! Anyone is welcome to join us and walk in honour of their loved one.
I am delighted to have reached my initial target of $2000 with over two months to go before the actual walk. A huge thanks to everyone who has donated so far.
