Dry July with the Warrens!

Dry July with the Warrens!

We're raising funds for people with dementia!

As some may know, Jakes dad, Brian, was diagnosed with Dementia after an accident in November. The accident resulted in a diagnosis of multiple forms of Dementia, and with him being relatively young, led to an extended period of waiting in hospital before being accepted into a memory ward of Aged Care.

Dementia is a cruel and unfair disease, stealing the minds and dignity of some of the most amazing, smart people you have ever met.

Dementia is something that unfortunately can be heriditary, with other uncles and grandparents diagnosed. This is a disease that affects all members of the family.

While research has made some amazing gains in preventative and comfort medicine, there is still no cure.

We want to see a world where dementia can be cured. For our families and generations to come. And so no one has to suffer a cruel and undignified end.

We have decided to do a 'Dry July' challenge, where we will be sobering up for 31 days to raise money for Dementia Australia.

If you would like to chip in or even join the challenge, we would love that!!!

All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

Thank you for your support.
