Ray’s Celebration of Life

I still miss Ray, and always will. So glad I knew him and was able to celebrate him with you and Alex, Karlija Corey and the boys, and of course, Lidija. Love you all ♥️

We have been blessed to call Ray our dear neighbour and friend. Our friendship began when Ray and Lidija moved to Picton 1 year after we moved here, approximately 25 years ago. We shared many memories of wining and dining together, celebrating milestones, weddings and get togethers. We loved seeing Ray and Lidija who were like part of our extended family. Throughout all those years, Ray was always a great friend and the best neighbour. Hilarious wit, and so many shared stories and many laughs that could make you fall off your chair. He was also a great brewer of Yarndil brewed beers that were consumed during these get togethers. We were saddened to see his health decline due to dementia but loved sharing time with Ray. Even when dementia started taking its toll, Ray's smile remained and we cherished every moment we shared. We were blessed to spend time with him in his final weeks. We were blessed to live next door to Ray - 25 years of laughter, good food, and even better company – that's what we'll miss most. Rest in peace, mate – you'll be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
