I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

I’m raising money to support people living with dementia, a cause close to my heart. My dad has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, an incredibly aggressive form of dementia that is having a profound impact on his life. As the disease progresses, it’s taking hold of his mind and body in ways that are heartbreaking.

Lewy Body Dementia is a degenerative brain disease that leads to symptoms such as memory loss, movement difficulties, hallucinations, and cognitive decline. It is often harder to diagnose compared to other forms of dementia, and its impact on families is both physically and emotionally draining. The disease progresses in unpredictable ways, leaving both the individual and their loved ones navigating a rollercoaster of challenges.

But there’s hope. I’m raising funds for Dementia Australia, a charity that provides vital support services for people living with dementia, their families, and carers. Their work includes counselling, support groups, education, and training – all of which are crucial in helping people cope with the challenges of dementia.

I need your help to reach my fundraising goal. Your donation will directly support these essential services and make a difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
