In Honour of Our Beautiful Veronique

Our beautiful Veronique — our Vero — lived with dementia, a cruel disease that gradually took away so much of the person we knew and loved.
First and foremost, Veronique’s greatest love was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time she spent with those closest to her. Family was at the heart of everything she did. She also loved music, dancing and cooking, and had a beautiful spirit that brought warmth and joy to those around her. While dementia changed so much of her life, it could never take away the love she had for her family or the memories we will treasure forever.
We have created this fundraising page in Veronique’s honour to support Dementia Australia and help raise awareness, provide support for families and carers, and contribute to research that we hope will one day lead to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
If Veronique touched your life, or if dementia has touched the life of someone you love, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference.
This is our way of turning our love for Veronique into something positive — helping other families who are facing the same journey.
