I'm raising funds for people with dementia!
Dementia is a condition that affects millions of families, bringing challenges but also moments of deep love and resilience. In honour of those impacted, including our family, I’d like to invite contributions to Dementia Australia in lieu of gifts for my 40th birthday celebrations/shenanigans.
As most of you know, this cause holds personal meaning for my family, as we remember dad (Steve), a man who embodied kindness and a commitment to helping others. His journey with dementia was difficult, but his spirit never faded. We’ve seen firsthand how dementia can affect not only the person diagnosed but everyone around them. By supporting Dementia Australia, we can help fund vital research, care, and support for those affected, ensuring that no family faces this journey alone, and the dream of a cure may one day be realised.
