In Loving Memory of an amazing gentleman... Salvatore Pansino

So much gratitude for your kindness and undoubtedly your sorrow that has touched you enough to bring you to this page. This is more than just raising funds to assist those who are affected by dementia. Explaining the pain felt when losing a loved one, who was so incredibly amazing in every way is beyond what any words, eloquent or otherwise could possibly explain. There isn't a single day whereby you don't wish you could have them back. Salvatore was a joy to each and every person he encountered, family, friends, work colleagues (who became family) and those he stopped to chat to on the street during his daily walks.  It didn't matter who you were Salvatore had the time and heart space to show kindness, empathy, compassion and good old fashion camaraderie. His love of music and dance filled his soul and he would bring that joy to all. Even if you weren't on the dance floor, you would be enveloped in his passion for music, family & life.  Honestly he would light up any space. He had this way of making everyone feel they were a part of his circle. He radiated with so much love for his beautiful wife Concetta and three children, their partners, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

I know nothing will bring my father back but creating this page in his memory makes it feel like he is somewhat immortalised.  So you see, your donation is deeply cherished on so many levels, so much more than you know and for that we are forever grateful to you for your time, for your thoughts and for your wonderful generosity. 

Dementia doesn't just target the one patient, its effect spreads throughout the entire family and beyond. The impact on the carer, usually the spouse or children, are often left with emotional trauma that goes forgotten, unseen or untreated. You being here makes a huge difference and your generosity goes a long way. Thank you doesn't even begin to explain the level of gratitude we have for your donation and your time. 

It is through your kindness and generosity that allows Dementia Australia to continue offering education, research and support to all those affected by Dementia, whether directly or indirectly.
