Iā€™m taking part in Pedal the Map to make a difference for people living with dementia!

On February 9, 2024 I lost my mum. Mum absolutely loved life and loved her family. She was 85. A good innings you might say. However, Mum lived with Dementia for almost 10 years which cut the quality of her life short too soon. 
Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia and the leading cause of death for women in Australia.Ā 

We can do something about this. Live a healthy life!

I am also taking part in the Pedal the Map Challenge to raise awareness and raise funds to help with education and research into Dementia, of which there is currently no cure. We all know someone with, or who has had, Dementia. Please donate.
