Stel has suffered from Lewy bodies dementia for several years. It has been a challenging journey for Stel as he was independent and strong willed by nature.

One of the best men I've ever known - I met Mr V when i was 12 years old. Our first real coach. He had such a sweet jump shot too! Mr V always cared for our wellbeing, and wanted us to do well on and off the court. I remember doing work experience with Mr V as a draftsman, and how he loved a Cougar! I last saw him about 4 years ago before a game, and he bought lolly bags for both my kids, and sat and talked to them during the game . Thanks for everything Mr V. You're the best.
