Raising Funds for Dementia via 2026 Dubbo Marathon

On 6 September, I'll be lining up for the Dubbo Marathon. While completing the marathon is a personal goal, I'm also using the event to raise funds for Dementia Australia.
Dementia affects hundreds of thousands of Australians and has a profound impact not only on those living with the condition, but also on their families, friends and carers.
This cause has become particularly important to me following a recent dementia diagnosis within my own family. Running has always been something my father encouraged. In fact, he was my 'support crew' to my first Marathon in Canberra back in 2012. This year's Dubbo Marathon also happens to fall on Father's Day, making the event especially meaningful as I raise funds for Dementia Australia.
There are two ways you can support the fundraiser:
• Make a direct donation of any amount.
• Make a time-based pledge by contributing a nominated amount for every minute (or part thereof) that I finish under 4 hours 30 minutes. For example, if I run 4:15:35, that would be 15 minutes under the target. You can register a time-based pledge using this Google Form (you may need to copy and paste the link):

As part of my preparation for the event, I'll cover approximately 765 kilometres over the final three months of training. Every kilometre brings me one step closer to the start line and helps raise awareness of a condition that affects so many Australian families.
Thank you for supporting both my marathon journey and Dementia Australia. Every contribution, large or small, is greatly appreciated.
