All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.

Dicko’s great beard shave update

Sunday 16th May
Hi Friends, just thought I’d post an update on the fundraiser for Dementia Australia.
The donated amount is sitting at $3,560 so the target was well and truly met and we are flying past it! I also have a separate link for Burra Foods employees and Burra Foods will match the amount that the employees put in, currently sitting at $682, so in reality it’s $1,364 so in total we are just under $5,000 so that’s amazing! Then we have the shave day on Sunday the 23rd hosted by the middle pub, a golf day also in the planning stages, and another event to be announced soon so stay tuned. We appreciate everyone’s support so much and look forward to seeing you all soon.

Dicko’s great beard shave update

Tuesday 11th May
$1,776 raised so far, my target has increased to $3,000 but my promise stands, the beard will come off soon, stay tuned for details.

Monday 10th May
Well in just 3 hours my target of $1,000 was reached, I’m blown away by the result! Now don’t worry I’m still shaving the beard, but the target has been increased because I know there’s still some fundraising to come and some wonderful offers of support, so stay tuned
