I'm raising funds for people with dementia!
Welcome to my donation page, where I am raising funds for Dementia Australia to demonstrate my commitment to raising awareness and supporting those living with dementia.
This is a cause very close to my heart as many of you know with my Mum, Chris, living with early onset dementia for several years now. We’ve witnessed firsthand the impact this disease can have on an individual, a family and many other loved ones. Dementia is a cruel and isolating disease, and I want to do everything I can to raise awareness and funds that can make a difference to those impacted by Dementia.
So, time to have some “fun” with it. Introducing… ‘Miles For Mum’.
On Sunday May 7th, I am off to Port Macquarie to take on the ultimate endurance test, an Ironman!
3.8km Swim, 180km Ride, then a 42.2km Marathon. All in a day’s work.
By donating via my challenge, you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those impacted by dementia. 100% of proceeds go straight to Dementia Australia, contributing towards vital support services for people living with dementia, carers and research initiatives to develop better treatments and ultimately find a cure.
No donation is too small, and every dollar counts towards creating a brighter future. Thank you for your support. I'll be sure to keep you updated on my progress with training, the race and the of course the final contribution of the donation made.
