In Memory of Girolamo LaGuzza (26/05/1936 to 13/04/2021)
Girolamo LaGuzza was diagnosed with dementia at the age of 78. This affected his thinking, remembering and reasoning skills to such an extent it interfered with his daily life.
To see your loved one struggle to remember the simple things is the most difficult to go through.
Treatment can help but currently this condition can not be cured.
One thing that Girolamo did not forget was his sense of humour and his closest family and friends.
We would appreciate your donation to Dementia Australia to help other families who are going through what our family lived through during Girolamo's experience with this awful condition.
