I'm raising funds for people with dementia!

I’m raising funds for dementia research and I need your help.


Dementia is the 2nd leading cause of death, affecting 1 in 4 people over the age of 85. It affects nearly half a million Australians. This number is set to more than double by 2050. But anyone who has had a family member with dementia knows that the reality is much more devastating than these numbers can portray. It’s an illness that tears that the very fabric of our identity.


The only way that we tackle this is by small incremental steps. By slowly raising greater awareness, building better supports and developing therapies through research.


Finding solutions to dementia is a marathon not a spring so I’m running the Newcastle marathon on Sunday April 3rd to raise funds and awareness!
