I'm raising funds for people with dementia!
I’ve chosen to raise funds for Dementia Australia as I take on the challenge of swimming the English Channel.
This journey is not just a physical test for me, but also a tribute to someone very close to my heart—my nana—who recently passed away after facing the immense challenge of dementia.
While I push my body to its limits in the water, I’m reminded of the quiet strength she showed every day in her own battle.
This swim is for her, and for the many others affected by this devastating condition.
But I need your help! Please make a donation to support my efforts and help me reach my goal to beat dementia.
All funds raised will support the work of Dementia Australia to provide vital support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers. These services include counselling, support groups, education and training.
