I'm raising funds in honour of my Mum

Wednesday 27th May

My Mum migrated to Perth in 1972 with her husband and two young children, both aged under five, hoping to build a better life for their family.

Just five years later, she lost her soulmate when Dad passed away from brain cancer. From that moment on, Mum’s life was never the same.

In 2019, Mum was diagnosed with dementia, and over time we sadly watched her slowly deteriorate. In 2023, she lost her battle with dementia.

While we miss her deeply every day, we take comfort in knowing Mum is reunited with her soulmate once again, and we know she would be happier being by his side. 💜

To my beautiful Mum, losing Dad changed your life forever, and it was so hard watching the sadness you carried through the years. Sadly, dementia eventually took you from us. Now you and Dad are reunited together again for eternity. Love you always Mum. 💜
